About Unless
A career shaped by different experiences, industries and perspectives.

A Career Built Across Different Worlds
I started my career practicing law and lobbying on Capitol Hill. I moved into business, where I negotiated content and technology deals and later launched initiatives to engage our customers and communities.
After the loss of my son, I co-founded Simon’s Heart and spent years building the nonprofit from the ground up, ultimately stepping away from day-to-day leadership and helping transition the organization to a new leadership team.
Most recently, I developed and led the social impact work for a professional sports league and have worked with nonprofits on strategy, funding, advocacy and operations.
Each chapter has been different. Together, they shape the perspectives we bring to our clients through Unless.
Different Sides of the Table
01
Nonprofit Leadership
I’ve built and led a nonprofit, worked with boards, raised money, developed programs and experienced the constraints nonprofit leaders face firsthand.
03
Sports
Working in professional sports has shown me how leagues and teams can use their platforms, partnerships and communities to create impact.

02
Business
My background in law and corporate social responsibility taught me how companies make decisions, allocate resources and think about partnerships.
04
Advocacy
From legislation to community engagement, I’ve seen how change happens when people, organizations and ideas come together.
